Seven killed in road accident in Karimnagar

Karimnagar: Seven persons were killed and fifteen others were injured in a horrific accident that occurred near Chenjerla village, about 20km from here on Tuesday, police said.

The victims were traveling in a TSRTC bus which was on it’s way from Huzurabad to Karimnagar which was rear-ended by a truck, which was trying to overtake another vehicle.

The lorry hit a motorcyclist also. Seven



passengers were killed on the spot. Fifteen others were injured, some of them critically. The victims were not yet identified.

Minister Etela Rajendar rushed to the spot to supervise relief operations. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao expressed his shock over the incident and ordered the district administration to provide best Medicare possible to the injured.
