Severed head of new born seen carrying by stray dog

In a shocking incident, a stray dog was seen carrying the severed head of a new born in its mouth at Vanasthalipuram here on Sunday.

M.Karthik, a resident of LB Nagar who was sitting at a friend’s milk shop near Vivekananda statue on Sahara Road, was shocked at the sight of the dog with the infant’s head. He along with some



of his friends shooed away the stray animal which left the head on the ground before running away.

Karthik dialled 100 and informed the police following which Vanasthalipuram police rushed to the spot and sent the head for medical examination. A search to recover the torso of the infant was launched and the police registered a case.
