Union home minister Amit Shah will visit the city on December 28 to take part in a state-level BJP meeting to chalk out the strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
The day-long session will be attended by leaders above the party ranks of mandal and division presidents, with around 1,000 expected to take part in a brainstorming session. Shah is also expected to discuss the issues encountered by the party in the Assembly polls.
The
meeting will be held at the Sloka Function Hall in Kongara Kalan of Ibrahimpatnam, with a roadmap likely to be laid for the Parliament polls, BJP spokesperson Amarnath Sarangula said.
He said that district committee meetings will be held before leaders convene at the venue to meet Shah.
The issue of electing a legislature party leader is also expected to be finalised in the meeting.
