SHE Teams nab 38 persons

The Rachakonda SHE Teams have arrested 38 persons, including five minors, on charges of harassing women over the last five weeks. A total of 53 cases were booked.

In one case, one B Ramakiran was nabbed for stalking and sexually harassing a minor girl from Bhongir Town.

In another case, T Sambashiva Rao, a private employee, was arrested



for harassing a 24-year-old software employee in Neredmet. In a third case, S Rajashekar was arrested for raping a 22-year-old woman after promising to marry her in Keesara.

The SHE Teams, in the last one month, also stopped five child marriages and rescued five minor girls, according to a press release.
