Singareni Collieries Company Limited to share 23% of profit with workers

In a bonanza to employees of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), the Telangana government announced that it would share 23 per cent of its profits with them.

The PSU recorded a profit of Rs 1,066 crore in 2015-16, of which Rs 245 crore would be disbursed among workers

Apart from this, the government has decided to give Diwali bonus of Rs 54,000 to each worker.
