Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is determined to promote and encourage industries to protect the interests of the working class in the State, Industries Minister KT Rama Rao has said. KTR performed puja at the site for restarting Paper Mill at Sirupr Kagajnagar in Kumaram Bhim Asifabad district.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR said as per the directive of the Chief Minister Kagaj Mill will be revived soon. It will be completed and start functioning in December. All incentives and subsidies will be given to help the workers of the company in a phased manner, he declared amidst applause from the gathering.
The minister also said the paper mill will provide jobs to the local people in the area. With this, dreams of working class will become a reality, he said, adding that over 10,000
workers were relying on it directly and indirectly. The minister appreciated MLA K Konappa for his persistent efforts for reopening of the Paper Mill which was closed four years ago.
For some reasons, the mill was closed and now the Chief Minister was for restarting it soon, he declared.
The minister said the State government will extend all support to the JK Group, which was taking over the Paper Mill. This group has a total turnover of Rs 30,000 crore in its own businesses and will revive the paper mill by taking necessary support from the government, he said.
“KCR has asked them to restart the paper mill at any cost and we are on the job now to provide jobs and employment”, he said.
