Six persons dead in fire at A/c factory in Rajendranagar

Six persons were charred to death when a fire broke out in a air cooler and battery operated vehicle making unit at Rajendarnagar early on Wednesday.Four of the dead were identified as workers of the unit while two others were reportedly their friends. 

The incident took place around 4 a.m., the owner of the unit was taken into custody.

to the police the workers were repairing some electronic items inside last night.“”It is not clear what happened. Four of the bodies were lying next to the door while two other were found inside the hall,” a local police official said. 

The police are verifying reports that the owner had locked the premises last night and went home.
