The railway passengers arriving at the Secunderabad Railway Station are likely to face temporary inconvenience as six platforms will be closed for nearly 130 days due to the redevelopment works being carried out at brisk pace in the station.
The routes of at least 60 trains were being diverted from
Secunderabad to Cherlapalli, Kacheguda and Nampally railway stations. In particular, more trains will start running from Cherlapalli to decrease the load on Secunderabad railway station.
As per available information, a huge two-storied sky concourse is going to be built at the station as part of the redevelopment project.
