Six senior students of Suryapet Medical College suspended for one year in Ragging case

Suryapet: Six senior students of MBBS from Government Medical College of Suryapet were suspended for one year following the ragging of a junior student.

Based on the report submitted by the inquiry committee and following the instructions of Director of Medical Education, principal of the College Dr C V Sarada issued orders for



suspension of the six second year students of 2019-20 batch of MBBS including Mahender, Shanmukh, Ranjith Sai, Sujith, Harish and Sravan.

The hostel facility for the six students was also suspended permanently. The suspended students have been instructed by the college management to vacate their rooms in the hostel immediately.
