Chief secretary SK Joshi on Tuesday directed officials to ensure that medical teams are in place in villages to conduct eye screening as part of “Kanti Velugu” programme to be launched on August 15.
Schedule of medical teams village visits should be put up online, he said. About 900 medical officers have
been appointed to ensure the exercise is successful.
The CS also reviewed voter registration exercise with chief electoral officer. The CS said names of bogus voters must be deleted. This should be done keeping view likely Assembly polls in April-May 2019, Joshi said.
