South London Mayor Saleha Jaffer participates in Haritha Haram

City Mayor Bonthu Rammohan along with South London Mayor Saleha Jaffer and thousands of students of various educational institutions have participated in the Haritha Haram programme held at Saidabad. 

While interacting with the public representatives Mayor said that the civicbody is planning to develop 33 per cent greenery in the entire Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits this year as the part of Haritha Haram. 

He said that the GHMC has taken up tree



plantation in open identified places and 90 per cent  of the saplings which were planted in last year have been survived. He further stated that when compare to the other countries the greenery should be developed a lot for pollution free environment.  

Mayor of Lambeth, Saleha Jaffer said that after the formation of the Telangana State,a number of developmental activities have been taken up in all angles especially with regard to IT, environment and other activities.
