Special vehicles launched for fast restoration of power in Hyderabad

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday launched specially designed vehicles for speedy restoration of power in the Greater Hyderabad limits. All the 57 divisions in the Greater Hyderabad limits will have one such vehicle to attend to emergency services.

One assistant engineer and three



line staff will be deployed in each vehicle and they will attend emergency power outages issues round the clock. Each vehicle will be equipped with all necessary safety equipment like ladders, insulators, conductors and cables, earth rods and helmet. These vehicles are capable of towing transformers and changing them in less time.
