State government employees to get salaries on Sept 25

Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday instructed officials of the finance department to release salaries of the state government employees on 25th of this month, keeping in view the Bathukamma and Dasara, which are slated to be celebrated towards the end of the month, while Moharrum is



on October 1.

The CM has also asked the officials to release the dearness allowance (DA) to be paid to the employees.The total financial burden on the exchequer as a result of this will be `580 crore, said a press release issued by the CMO.
