Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao made it clear that the State government has no intention to deny Rythu Bandhu benefits to any farmer. The government, which enhanced the yield by providing an uninterrupted power supply and Kaleshwaram water, has also designed the regulated farming system to provide more benefits to farmers. The farmers who sow crops by following regulated farming methods would be provided Rythu Bandhu, Minister informed during a review meeting with officials on various issues at his camp office in Sircilla on Tuesday.

To protect the interests of the farming community by providing Rythu Bandu was the main aim of the Telangana government. For the purpose, an amount of Rs 12,000 crore was allocated earlier. Now, it has been enhanced to Rs 14,000 crore. The regulated farming method was possible with a comprehensive vision and plan. Telangana would become a role model for the entire country as well as the world if the method was implemented perfectly.

Rama Rao instructed Rythu Samithi presidents, Agriculture Officers and Agriculture Extension

Officers to prepare comprehensive details of each and every farmer within 24 hours. Farmers-wise crop details would be displayed in every gram panchayat office for the next monsoon season. It was the responsibility of Rythu Samithi leaders and agriculture officials to educate the farmers to sow crops according to the list displayed in gram panchayat.

It was also necessary to educate farmers to cultivate crops suitable for their lands based on soil testing. Besides traditional crops, farmers developing seeds, growing vegetables, and fruits would also be given Rythu Bandhu.
