Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has reportedly assured government employees that the State government would ensure justice for them in the PRC recommendations, leaders of government employees and teachers unions said on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister also assured the union delegation that had a meeting with him at Pragathi Bhavan that the government would also increase the retirement age besides looking into other issues.
The union leaders said they have faith in the Chief Minister and were confident that the State government would make an official announcement on the employees’ issues and the PRC implementation once the model code of conduct that
is in vogue now on account of the MLC elections, comes to an end.
The union leaders pointed out that Chandrashekhar Rao had given a 43 per cent fitment – the highest in the country – to employees last time without being asked, and they expect him to do justice this time too.
Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Association president M Rajender, Telangana Secretariat Employees’ Association president A Narender Rao, Telangana Gazetted Officers Association president V Mamatha and Progressive Recognised Teachers’ Union TS (PRTU TS) Pingili Sripal Reddy and other leaders participated in the meeting with the Chief Minister.
