State govt decides to refurbish four more existing hospitals in Hyderabad

The State government has decided to refurbish four more existing hospitals into standalone coronavirus treatment facilities in the city.

Authorities have already completed refurbishing works to start an exclusive coronavirus facility at King Koti area hospital with a capacity of 350 beds. Health officials are also in the process of setting-up a 1,500 bed quarantine facility at the sports village, Gachibowli stadium, which will



be ready in another 20 days.

On Sunday, the IT Minister, KT Rama Rao took to social media platform Twitter and said that four exclusive coronavirus hospitals will be set-up in Hyderabad. “Completely refurbished and exclusive 350 bed hospital for corona patients at King Koti, Hyderabad made ready. Four more exclusive hospitals being refurbished and readied in Hyderabad’, he tweeted.
