Stop harassing Muslim youths: Mahmood Ali to Police Commissioner

Dy. CM of Telangana State, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali met City Police Commissioner, Mr. Mahinder Reddy and directed him to take necessary steps to stop the harassment by police to the innocent Muslim youth by arresting them under suspicion. It may be mentioned that 13 years back, violence broke out while taking funeral procession of Mujahid Saleem who was killed in Gujarat Police Officer’s firing near Ravindra Bharati



for obstructing the arrest of Maulana Naseeruddin.

A delegation of local leaders of Jamat-e-Islami met Mr. Mahmood Ali yesterday and apprized him of the arrests of Muslim youths by SIT. Police has the names of 15 youths who are absconding.
