Students can now apply online for Bus Pass

Students across the State can now apply for bus passes online started from Saturday as the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has made elaborate arrangements to issue student bus passes in the Greater Hyderabad Zone for the year 2019-2020.

 

Students applying for bus passes such as free, route, general, greater, special, exclusive and district route passes can apply through TSRTC website (https://online.tsrtcpass.in) from June 1.

Private educational institutions are mandated to obtain their bus passcode by registering all their courses and payment of administrative charges while the Government and aided institutions are exempted from such



charges.

The student filling the online application should save under the institution name along with their respective code. After submitting the application, the headmaster or principal or director or dean of the institution has to forward the application form to TSRTC.

The student shall take the print out of the computer generated acknowledgment receipt after applying for the bus pass online and visit the institution and ensure that their application form has been forwarded to TSRTC.

The students can later visit their preferred bus pass counters on the specified date to obtain a bus pass, the statement added.
