Swiggy, Zomato banned in Telangana

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Sunday said that except for suppliers of groceries and other daily needs, food supply services such as Swiggy and Zomato have been banned in the State till further orders.

“In Delhi, 69 people were infected through a pizza supplier.



Hence we have decided to ban them, and if they are found violating the norms, stern action will be taken,” he said, and urged people to stay home and consume homemade food. “Life is valuble, so don’t order door delivery till May 7,” he said.
