T Srinivas Yadav asks the citizens to stay indoors during the rain

Minister Talasani Srinivas Rao directed the GHMC to take precautionary measures to prevent untoward incidents during the rain. The minister asked the citizens to stay indoors and not come out unless there was an emergency.

The lightning strike victim was identified as Satish, 30, who had gone to the Ganeshnagar ground in Sircilla to play cricket on Sunday. While it began raining, he took shelter under a tree and was struck by lightning.
