Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav lauded the efforts of the Rachakonda Police personnel in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic here on Wednesday.
The Minister, along with Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and others, visited the police commissionerate at Neredmet and appreciated the efforts of Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat in installation of surveillance cameras across the commissionerate.
He also praised the social service activities undertaken by the police
in coordination with voluntary donors, in ensuring the government’s commitment that no individual is deprived of food and essential items at these tough times. This has dramatically changed the image of the police in the common man’s mind, the Minister said.
Applauding the police personnel for keeping up the spirit of ‘service before self’, he also handed over sanitisers, masks and hand gloves worth Rs10 lakh to the Rachakonda Police.
