Fisheries, cinematography and animal husbandry minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav inaugurated 2BHK houses for below poverty line (BPL) groups at Kamala Nagar in Jubilee Hills on Thursday. The minister then handed over the houses to the beneficiaries.

Each unit, with a built-up area of 560 sq. ft., cost Rs 8.5 lakh and the project was completed at Rs17.85 crore. There will also be 15 shops within the



colony.

Addressing the gathering, Yadav said, "Our Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has a great vision and works for the welfare of people. The CM’s vision is to ensure people do not suffer, no matter how much it costs the exchequer and his dream is double-bedroom houses for all."

Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath and other officials were also present.
