Telugu Desam party (TDP) today announced Rs five lakh as a financial assistance to the family of Rohit Vemula, a UoH students who committed suicide.

Prabhakar Rao, Telangana TDP leader Motukpally Narasimhulu and others went to the house of Rohit at Uppal and expressed solace to family members. They also inquired about the incident with family members.
Motukpally said the UoH has not having an efficient vice chancellor. He said it was VC who has to resolve problems if there was differences between the students. The VC should have submitted resignation owning moral responsibility for the incident, he said.
