Technology should reach to common man: K T Rama Rao

IT & Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao said that  there will be no use of technology if it failed to help the common man.

KTR was launching a T Application Folio here. MP Boora Narsaiah Goud, Revenue Principal Secretary Rajeshwar Tiwari, IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Mee Seva Commissioner, Venkateshwar Rao, DGP Mahender Reddy, Civil Supplies Chief CV Anand and others were present.

Speaking on the occasion, KTR said robust support for “me seva” centers and digitization were offering better results as bills were being paid and certificates being issued online. He said the T APP Folio will be utilized extensively by the public and T Fibre project will be completed by December this year. He also said the State



government will provide 15 MBPS broad band internet services to every household through Mission Bhagiratha program as part of offering safe drinking waters.

As many as 110 crore people are using mobile phones and 40 crore people were using smart phones across the country, he said, adding that Indians adopt new technologies very easily. The communication began from zero and rose to revolutionize the world, the IT Minister noted. 

RTA M Value has got good response from people and Telangana is in the forefront of digital technology post cancellation of big notes. “We have taken up land records cleansing drive in villages after 86 years and will do so in towns soon”, he said.
