Telangana Assembly passes 4 Bills

The State Legislative Assembly on Thursday approved four Bills, carrying out amendments to the existing laws. All the Bills were passed by the Assembly after the Opposition benches extended their support for the same.

Farmers, Agricultural Labourers and Rural Artisans) Bill.

Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao introduced the amendment to the Telangana Panchayat Raj Bill, in continuation to the ordinance passed by the government earlier for the election of Zilla Parishad chairpersons and Mandal Parishad Presidents before completion of the term of the existing Zilla Parishads and Mandal Parishads.
