The State Cabinet meeting is scheduled to be held from 2 pm in the Secretariat on Thursday to discuss a host of issues, including BC reservations, SC sub classification, annual budget session and others.

With the budget session to be conducted in a few days, the Cabinet is expected to decide on the number of days for the session, besides approving the Governor’s speech.

State. As the resurvey is also completed, the Cabinet is likely to approve the same.

This apart, there is a buzz that the Ministers could discuss the issue of new ration cards and supply of free sand for Indiramma Indlu. Furthermore, the Cabinet would also discuss the action plan for ensuring sufficient drinking and irrigation water in the summer in the State.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports indicated large scale transfers of IAS and IPS in the State. The orders are likely to be issued any time after the Cabinet meeting.
