Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has made a strong pitch for investments in the state across a wide range of sectors like circular economy, urban infrastructure and environmental rejuvenation, at the World Expo held in Osaka in Japan, yesterday.
The Chief Minister, who led the TelanagnaRising delegation to Japan, batted for investments from Japanese companies in initiatives like Musi Rejuvenation, Regional Ring Road, Radial Roads, expansion of Hyderabad metro Rail, Future City as also in sectors like software, futuristic technologies including Artificial Intelligence besides pharma, bulk
drugs, tourism, textiles, agriculture and green power.
Mr. Reddy said the delegation’s visit envisaged strengthening the historical friendship through long-term partnerships. He asked for building partnerships that will empower people, partnerships to design the future, and partnerships to inspire and drive innovation. He also invited the Japanese firms to come to Hyderabad, design and manufacture their products and harness the strength of the location to make it a launchpad for the Indian market as well as a strategic base for global exports.
