Telangana concludes 2-day orientation programme for legislative members

In Telangana, a two-day orientation programme on legislative procedures and rules of conduct, for Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly members, has concluded in Hyderabad last evening. The event was aimed at enhancing the understanding of legislative responsibilities among MLAs and MLCs. The programme was attended by 17 Legislative Council members and 61 Assembly members. 

The sessions focused on legislative rights, duties, and practical implementation. Council Chairman Gutta



Sukhender Reddy announced plans to complete the formation of all Assembly and Council committees soon and to organize study tours for legislators. 

Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar expressed his satisfaction and said for the first time since state formation in 2014, such an official orientation program was conducted for Council and Assembly members. He urged legislators to implement the knowledge gained during the program in future sessions.
