In Telangana, a large number of candidates from different parties have filed their nominations on Friday, the last day of filing nominations. Pradesh Congress Committee President A Revanth Reddy filed his nomination papers in Kamareddy, where he is contesting against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) president Prof. Kodandaram were among those who were present on the occasion.
Among the Congress candidates, K. Rajagopal Reddy from Munugodu filed nomination papers. BJP Rajya Sabha member Dr K Lakshman accompanied BJP candidate M Srinivas Goud in
Nalgonda constituency for filing nomination.
Union Minister of state for Skill Development Rajeev Chandrasekhar attended the nomination filing of BJP-supported Jana Sena candidate, M Satish Reddy at Kodad constituency. BJP candidates Anujgna Reddy from Wanaparthy, T. Uma and Ch. Vikas Rao from Vemulawada were among those who filed nominations. CPI(M) candidate Mallu Lakshmi filed nomination papers in Huzurnagar.
The scrutiny of nominations will be held on 13th, Monday. The deadline of withdrawing nomination will be at 3pm on 15th of November.
