Announcing that the Nizam era market Mir Alam Mandi is set for a makeover, special chief secretary (MA&UD) Arvind Kumar said here on Sunday that it would be rebuilt and restored to its original grandeur at a cost of Rs 16.14 crore.
His tweet stated that the market
located in Pathar Gatti would be equipped with features like underground drainage and LED lighting.
Once the bids are finalised, the project works are likely to be taken up in January. Currently, the market is in a dilapidated state.
