In the high-octane Telangana Assembly elections where passions ran high, many voters chose the None Of The Above (Nota) option to indicate their unhappiness with the candidates in the fray.

In at least 26 constituencies, Nota secured the fourth highest number of votes, and fifth in 25 others. Quthbullapur constituency recorded the highest number of votes for Nota at over 4,000, followed by Medchal (3,737), Achampet (2,419), Boath (2,313), Nizamabad Rural (2,268) and Dubbak (2,252).

The constituencies where NOTA stood fourth were Achampet, Amberpet, Armur, Boath, Dubbak, Khairatabad, Khanapur, Kukatpally, LB Nagar,



Malkajgiri, Medchal, Musheerabad,  Narsapur, Nirmal, Nizamabad Urban, Palakurthi, Quthbullapur, Rajendranagar, Sanathnagar, Secunderabad, Secunderabad Cantonment, Serilingampally,  Uppal, Wardhannapet, Warangal East and Warangal West.

The constituencies where Nota secured the fifth largest chunk of votes were Alampur, Bellampally, Bhongir, Chennur, Chevella, Devarakonda, Devarakadra, Jadcherla, Jagtial, Jubilee Hills, Karwan, Khammam, Madhira, Mahabubabad, Maheswaram, Makthal, Malakpet, Medak, Narayanpet, Nizamabad Rural, Patancheru, Ramagundam, Sirpur, Vikarabad and Yellareddy.
