Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday addressed the issue of demonetization in Telangana Assembly during a debate wherein he extended his support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision stating that the move was taken in the interest of the nation and the results would show in the coming days.

Asserting that demonetization was a part of PM Modi's cleansing drive to build a corruption-free India, KCR pointed out that the former had already pointed out that problems would arise on the first day itself and asked everyone to wait till the deadline comes to an end.
