Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday addressed the issue of demonetization in Telangana
Assembly during a debate wherein he extended his support for Prime Minister
Narendra Modi's decision stating that the move was taken in the interest of the
nation and the results would show in the coming days.
Asserting that demonetization was a part of PM Modi's cleansing drive to build a corruption-free India, KCR pointed out that the former had already pointed out that problems would arise on the first day itself and asked everyone to wait till the deadline comes to an end.

requested everyone to support PM Modi in his efforts to curb corruption, black
money, fake currency, and terrorism.KCR even jumped in to support
demonetization when Opposition parties criticized the NDA government over the
issue and that the state’s revenues were not affected badly as anticipated with
the advantage of having significant urban population.
Stating that the government would encourage cashless transactions, he urged PM Modi not to back down on demonetization and go ahead with a total clean-up of all fields including political corruption.
