Telangana favourable for BJP, says Lakshman

Telangana: State Chief of BJP, Dr K. Lakshman told that Telangana is the second favourable state for BJP where it has bright chances of gaining popularity in the future.

Talking to newsmen yesterday after the declaration of Lok Sabha results, Dr Lakshman said that in the southern States, after Karnataka, Telangana could be a



favourable state for BJP to prosper in the future.

It may be mentioned that it is the first time that BJP got tremendous support in Telangana. It bagged 4 M.P seats, namely: Adilabad, Karimnagar, Secunderabad and Nizamabad. The party polled 19% votes. It defeated Mr KCR’s daughter, Ms K.Kavitha in Nizamabad.
