Telangana Finance Minister T Harish Rao to present annual Budget today

Telangana Finance Minister T Harish Rao will be presenting the Annual Budget for the year 2021-22 to the state Legislature Assembly this morning. The Assembly will take up the Budget speech at 11.30AM. Legislature Affairs Minister V Prashant Reddy will present the same in Legislature Council at the same time. Meanwhile, the state Cabinet has approved the annual budget outlay for the nest financial



year at a meeting held last evening.

 

The Budget outlay is likely to be around 2 lakh crore rupees for the new financial year with highest allocations for the welfare sector. There may be a few populous announcements in the budget this time, especially in the wake of various recent announcements and indications by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
