State government on Thursday has notified constituting an 11-member Telangana Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (TFRC) under the Chairmanship of former High Court Judge, Justice R Swaroop Reddy. A government order by State Education Secretary B Janardhan Reddy said that under Rule (3) of the Telangana Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (for Professional Courses offered in Private Un-aided Professional Institutions) Rules, 2006, the committee has been constituted.
Following this, the new TFRC will be fixing the admission fee for the un-aided private professional colleges in the State for the block period of 2019-2022. Accordingly, Justice P Swaroop Reddy will be chairman and the Principal Secretary or Secretary representing the education, health and medical and family welfare will be acting as the Member Secretary of the committee.

Hospital will be the academic expert members, representing the technical and medical education. Similarly, G V Laxman Rao, Charted Accountant and K Ravinder Reddy, Advocate will be representing in the committee as the financial expert and legal experts, respectively.
That apart, Vice-Chancellor of the JNTU-H, for engineering courses, Vice- Chancellor of Kaloji Narayana Rao Health University, Warangal for Medical Courses and Vice-Chancellor Osmania University Hyderabad for B.Ed and other courses will be the member of the committee. Besides, one representative from the State Finance Department, Chairman, Telangana State Council of Higher Education, One representative from the All India Council of Technical Education, Medical Council of India, Bar Council of India, and National Council of Teacher Education (as the case may be) will also be the member of the newly constituted committee. Further, the chairman of the committee can decide to invite anyone as a special invitee.
