Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali on Thursday said the Telangana police stood as a role model in the country in implementing people friendly policing.
Participating in the passing out parade of the stipendiary cadets training of 499 police constables here, he said the State government was according top priority for the Police Department for effectively implementing law and
order.
The government spent Rs.700 crore for the modernization of the police and to purchase new patrol vehicles and seven new Police Commissionerates were established.
The department was also giving priority for the safety and security of the women and accordingly established a separate women safety wing, he added.
