Telangana State Governor, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has emphasised the need for well-trained faculty in medical education especially in the era of technological advancements like robotics in surgery.
Addressing medical professionals at the ‘Faculty Development Programme’ organised by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, the Governor said there is a high demand and necessity for well-trained faculty in
medical education.
Stating that the Central Government accorded priority to medical education, she said, unlike earlier generations of medical students, the present-day students have access to information technology, digital books, the latest equipment and well-trained, experienced faculty.
Eminent medical professionals and practitioners in Hyderabad attended the programme.
