Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan has called upon students to face challenges in life "head-on to emerge stronger with each hurdle”. The Governor has launched the ‘Y20 India (Youth-20)’ celebrations at the English and Foreign Languages University (Eflu) campus in Hyderabad last evening. 

She said youth have an immense role to play in the country's progress towards sustainability and self-reliance. She said they should become psychologically, emotionally, and physically strong to face the



challenges with courage.

The Y20 celebrations are being held in various universities across the country as a part of India’s G20 presidency. The Governor has also advised students to practice yoga on a regular basis and take up sports as a part of daily life.

Eflu Vice-Chancellor, and member of the University Grants Commission,Prof. E Suresh Kumar said the country has the great advantage of having a higher percentage of youth population.
