Telangana state government has announced an assistance of 25 crore rupees to the flood ravaged Kerala state. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao directed State Chief Secretary, S. K. Joshi to handover the assistance to Kerala state government immediately.
The Chief Minister also directed officials to send water treatment RO machines worth 2.5 crore rupees immediately to provide purified drinking water in affected areas of
Kerala.
He also called upon industrialists and business sector to generously donate for helping Kerala in the present need of the hour. He informed that arrangements will be made to send the donations received at the CM Relief Fund.
Expressing deep concern over the loss that Kerala incurred due to massive floods, Mr Rao assured that Telangana state is ready to extend all necessary help to Kerala.
