Telangana govt appoints Moulana Hafez Mohammed Lateef as Makkah Masjid Imam

Telangana government has filled the vacant post of Imam of Makkah Masjid by appointing Maulana Hafez Mohammed Lateef Ahmed, Naeb Shaikh Al-Fiqqah, Jamia Nizamia, for a period of 3 years.

As per the GO RT 127 issued by Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel, Hafez Mohammed Lateef Ahmed has been appointed as imam



for a period of 3 years.

Superintendent of Makkah Masjid Abdul Qadeer Siddiqui had written a letter to the government informing that two posts of the Imam were vacant in Makkah Majid. He had recommended appointing Hafez Mohammed Lateef. Government accepted his recommendation and issued orders.
