The State government has so far deposited Rs.7,298.83 crore investment support under Rythu Bandhu scheme into 60.75 lakh farmers accounts in the State, Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy said on Thursday.
In a statement issued here, the Minister said on Thursday alone, Rs.120.16 crore will be deposited into 18,000 farmers accounts, covering 2.40 lakh acres.
Rythu Bandhu benefits will be extended to
farmers covering 145.98 lakh acres across the State. Of the targeted Rs.7,508 crore deposits into 63.25 lakh farmers accounts, the government has so far deposited Rs 7,298.83 crore into 60.75 lakh farmers accounts, the Minister said.
The investment support deposits under Rythu Bandhu scheme commenced on June 15 to help farmers get started with agriculture operations for Vaanakalam season.
