The Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Department on Wednesday extended the time limit for disposal of pending LRS applications in all the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of the State from March 31 to April 30.

The extension of date would be applicable only for pending cases received till March 31 and which were otherwise pending, a memo issued by Principal Secretary (MA&UD) Arvind Kumar



said.

The urban local bodies including GHMC, HMDA and Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA), Warangal, had represented that more time was required to dispose of large number of pending applications and also receive balance LRS charges from individual applicants. 

Accordingly, the MA&UD Department directed the ULBs to complete processing of pending LRS applications by April 30.
