Telangana govt issues transfers and postings orders of IAS cadre

The State government on Thursday transferred Vikas Raj, Principal Secretary, I&CAD Department, to the post of Principal Secretary, PR and RD department. Somesh Kumar, Special Chief Secretary (Excise and Commercial Taxes), Revenue Department, has been given Full Additional Charge (FAC) as Principal Secretary, I&CAD as also Commissioner, Relief & Rehabilitation and Land Administration until further orders. Orders to this effect were



issued by Chief Secretary SK Joshi and the postings will come into force with immediate effect.

Meanwhile, Devulapalli Prabhakar Rao, Chairman, Telangana State Official Languages Commission, has been given a further extension of one year. Prabhakar Rao, who was appointed to the post with Cabinet rank in April, 2016, for a period of one year, was earlier given a two year extension in April, 2017.
