Telangana govt proposes formation of three new revenue mandals

Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar on Wednesday said the State government, in the interest of better administration and development of the areas concerned, proposes to form new revenue mandals – Gundumal and Kothapalle in Narayanpet and Dudyal in Vikarabad.

In a preliminary notification issued on Wednesday, objections or suggestions were invited on the proposal from all persons residing within the district/revenue division/mandal/villages for consideration by the government.

All objections or suggestions should be in writing in English, Telugu or Urdu and must be addressed



to the Collectors within whose jurisdiction the area lies, so as to reach the office of the district Collectors of Narayanpet and Vikarabad on or before the expiry of 30 days from the date of notification.

Meanwhile, the district administration in Siddipet has requested the Revenue department for creation of Kukunurpally as mandal headquarters with 17 villages from existing Kondapak and Jagadevpur mandal in Gajwel Revenue Division.

The administration has sought for a detailed report and called for specific remarks on the matter.
