Telangana Government yesterday signed a deal with Taoyuan City of Taiwan for a technology partnership. IT Minister K T Rama Rao and principal secretary Jayesh Ranjan signed the agreement with Robert Huang, Director of the Board of Taiwan company at World IT Congress 2018 at HICC here.

The largest event of its kind in the technology domain, World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) 2018, concluded on the 21st of February with Telangana, India handing over the baton to Armenia for the 2019 edition.

Partnership MoU was exchanged between officials of the Government of Telangana State and Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The TS Government will work in coordination with Taoyuan which is one of the fastest growing cities with respect to entrepreneurship, innovation and IoT. 

As per the agreement Taiwan has agreed to partner with the state government to collaborate on attracting investments, products and applications for e-governance, support start up companies, tie ups with educational institutions and joint exhibition of latest technology solutions.
