Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to release the Kharif installment of financial assistance to farmers under the Rythu Bandhu scheme the State from June 26.
He directed Finance Minister Harish Rao and Additional Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao to take steps to deposit the Rythu Bandhu funds to the farmers in their respective bank accounts.
Farmers of Podu lands in the State were to be issued land titles soon and once they were distributed, the Podu land farmers will also be considered for the Rythu Bandhu assistance.

Minister said officials concerned have been instructed for taking measures to ensure Rythu Bandhu disbursal to the farmers who were issued land titles.
Over 70 lakh farmers had received Rythu Bandhu assistance in December and January for Rabi season 2022-23. Since the launch of Rythu Bandhu, the State government has spent over 65 thousand crore rupees on the implementation of the scheme in ten installments.
The government has made a budgetary allocation of over 15 thousand crore rupees in the current year for the Rythu Bandhu implementation.
