Telangana Agriculture Minister T. Nageshwara Rao has said the Rythu Bharosa scheme will be implemented in the coming season very soon after the Cabinet SubCommittee submits its report. He said the state government has been implementing its schemes as per its word and made it clear that the Congress government will work to see that farmers stand on their own.
Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Saturday, the minister said the state government has been continuing the schemes left by the BRS government like
previous Rabi season Rythu Bandhu, subsidy for the seeds of fodder, subsidy to palm oil, subsidy to drip companies. He said the government released eight thousand crore rupees for these schemes and it shows the sincerity of the government towards farmers.
The minister further said the government will pay back the Rythu Bharosa amount of 7500 rupees per acre from the coming crop season after the submission of the report by the Cabinet SubCommittee.
