Telangana Group – I aspirants stage protest, demand Mains re-examination

With a demand of Group-I Mains re-examination, scores of aspirants staged a protest at Dharna Chowk here on Friday. Stating that injustice was meted out to candidates who wrote the exam in Telugu medium, the aspirants demanded justice.

Protesters lamented that candidates who wrote the examination in English medium were given good scores but not the ones in Telugu medium. They questioned how the



Telangana Public Service Commission completed Group – I Main answer scripts evaluation in just 75 days.

Alleging that there were major issues in the evaluation, an aspirant said how could 70 candidates from one centre figure in the general ranking list?

The High Court had ordered the State government to hold the prelims examination but not to go in for a fresh notification.
