Telangana State government on Monday entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Government of Haryana to exchange and promote cultural and traditional practices, to know the lifestyles, food habits, and others of both the States.
Tourism Secretary B Venkatesham and Haryana Additional Chief Secretary Dheera Khandelwal exchanged the MoU in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home
Minister Rajnath Singh during a programme ‘Ek Bharat- Shreshth Bharat’ organised on the occasion of birth anniversary Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Pragati Maidan in Delhi.
Later, talking to media, Venkatesham said that Telangana State government would be entering into similar MoUs with Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. This agreement would be valid for the next four years, he said.
