Justice K. Surender of the Telangana High Court has adjourned the pleas of Y.S. Bhaskar Reddy and M.V. Krishna Reddy, who are questioning the action of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in declaring A4 Sheik Dastagiri, an accused in the former minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy murder case, as an approver and setting him free.

The court asked the counsels for the petitioners whether the CBI had filed a chargesheet in the case. The counsels replied that the

trial court had returned the chargesheet due to some technical reasons. Taking note of the counsels' arguments, the court adjourned the case to July 20, 2023.

The petitioners have alleged that the CBI's decision to declare Dastagiri as an approver was illegal and that it had been done under political pressure.

The court will hear the arguments of the petitioners on July 20, 2023.
